Our fourth-generation gourmet butcher’s shop Gourmet-Metzgerei Wolf has been run as a traditional family business for over 100 years. We combine handed-down recipes with fresh ideas and a modern ambiance, while placing a great deal of importance on quality.

From the selection of our quality-conscious suppliers (we buy our meat from farmers who belong to the Bäuerliche Erzeugergemeinschaft Schwäbisch Hall (rural producers’ association), the natural processing of our products through to the conscious decision to leave out lactose and glutamate – these high standards can be tasted in every single one of our products!

German foodie magazine “Der Feinschmecker” also likes our meat and sausage products: In 2019, we were voted one of Germany’s best butcher’s for the fourth time.

Our favorite recipe

From when I was a child, I have always enjoyed our Nuremberg Bratwurst fried with a little lard in the cast iron frying pan. Served with homemade potato salad and a little horseradish – a dream!
