Bratwurst Röslein

Located in the middle of Nuremberg’s Old Town close to the Main Market Square, Bratwurst-Röslein has been serving customers since 1432. Initially the “Waizenstüblein” alehouse, it was the old Nuremberg Bratwurst inn “Zu den drei Rosen” before becoming the modern Bratwurst-Röslein.

The Förster family offer a wide range of regional Franconian dishes cooked in their open kitchen – naturally including Nuremberg Rostbratwursts made to the traditional recipe by Old Town master butcher Michael Förster.

Bratwurst-Röslein claims to be “the world’s largest bratwurst restaurant,” with seating for up to 600 patrons in its four distinct dining rooms, each with a warmly traditional atmosphere, as well as a large beer garden with another 250 seats.
